Why can't I edit a quiz?

When you distribute a quiz via email to your students, the quiz moves in the 'Distributed' state. In the 'Distributed' state the quiz is disabled.
If you share a quiz via link with your students, if a student is attempting a quiz or has already attempted the quiz, then we disable the quiz.
As shown below, in the disabled state, you can look at the quiz details but cannot edit it.
Once a quiz is distributed or a student starts attempting the quiz, we disabled edits to the quiz to ensure consistency. We ensure that when the student is attempting the quiz, questions and quiz settings do not suddenly change.
